Zina Kaynarska has experience of teaching Woodwinds (flute, clarinet and saxophone) in excess of 20 years, working in numerous of Melbourne Schools.
Since arriving in Australia in 1996, Zina has given recitals at various venues in Sydney and Melbourne. She has been granted AMTR Excellence Award 2004 “For Excellence in Teaching and the Running of a Music Teaching Business”.
She studied at Odessa State Conservatory, one of the oldest Russian institutions for concert musicians and music teachers. Zina has commenced her performing career as a Principal Flautist in the Ukrainian Symphony Orchestra, and later became a member of various Baroque and Woodwind ensembles, with which she frequently toured Russia and Europe. She is a winner of Ukrainian Woodwind Competition and a First Prize winner of International Chamber Competition in Poland. Also, Zina was awarded Commendation Certificate from the Ukrainian Government for active work in the field of music and education.
Zina offers lessons for flute, clarinet and saxophone for beginners, intermediate and advanced students. She prepares students for AMEB examination, as well as informal courses for students who don’t wish to go for AMEB exams.
Lessons are held at home studio in Parkdale. She utilises the unique method of teaching, where every lesson is structured as a very interesting play, filled with emotions. She has the musical instruments for rent and can supply students with all necessary materials (i.e. books and CDs).
